Digital Product: A consumer game designed to increase global health literacy.

Background:
In 2014, the founding team had an ambitious goal to give the Health Conscious community due reward for their commitment to health. Our dream was to lower the cost of health insurance by proving someone had above average knowledge of how to stay healthy. We built a game to detect the first ever Health I.Q.. Available on web, iPhone, Apple Watch and Android, users have access to over 300 health quizzes to measure and improve their Health IQ. By earning IQ points, users gain detailed insight into their health knowledge and earn titles such as "Health Guru" or "Health Pioneer." They can follow friends and mentors in the Health Conscious community, post tips, earn rewards and private message questions to leading peers.

Audience

  • Health Conscious
Self-motivated & disciplined citizens who put their health as a top priority. Their health interests and needs range across the spectrum: athletes, illness management, recovery, treatment, parenting, caregiving, and general wellness. They want to be a mentor and resource for their community and are constantly seeking a reliable source of information to stay up-to-date on research and facts. However, they are highly critical of most information sources. They are independent people, but are generally involved in some kind of health community whether for fitness, nutrition or wellness. They can be competitive, but appreciate positive encouragement.
